I am doing this for school and i really need to know what kind of treatment of medical help can people get for eating disorders. So if you would be kind enough to help me out, that would be nice. Thank you.
I have had anorexia and bulimia. I still have an ED myself which is an EDNO ( eating disorder not otherly specified ).
You usually go to psychiatrists or clinics or something.

You can talk with your doctor, your doctor can give you a list of support groups and clinics that specialize in ED. There is hospitalization that can better control ED. They will put you on a diet and monitor your eating along with psychiatric help to help you discover and deal with what caused the ED in a healthy and safe environment.
Hope this helps.

Those suffering from eating disorders usually respond best to a tri-fold approach: re-establishing a healthy weight lost to severe dieting and purging; treating psychological disturbances such as distortion of body image (low self-esteem); and achieving long-term remission and rehabilitation. This is achieved by nutritional rehabilitation, psychosocial intervention, and medication management when appropriate. Due to the varied picture of these conditions, and the many associated health concerns, each individual undergoes an individually tailored intervention. Some can benefit from anti-depressants as a palliative approach to a deep imbalance, while others will respond to psychotherapy as a means to dealing with underlying emotional issues.
