How would I write a cause or effect essay on eating disorders?

I have to write a cause or an effect paper on eating disorders (my topic), how would I break that down into an essay?

Well you’ll want an introduction to start of course, maybe pose yourself a question like, “so what are the underlying causes of eating disorders?”

Then move onto the main body where you look at social pressure, depression, self esteem and so forth, backing that up with case studies if you can find any. Main points – Sub points, elaborate.

And finally your conclusion and findings.
