If i wanted to start an awareness program for teens with eating disorders, how can i start it? creative ideas?
I want to help teens with eating disorders and help advertise the problem. I need some creative ideas, like, fund raisers to help with so and so, or wear a ribbion day. I want to give advice to these girls in a confrontable way, and rreally get through to them. Any advice and ideas will be much apprectaited and well used!!!

My friend has started a Youth assistance programme in Year 2005, nina from New Plymouth.
Talk with your local government representative. Write some ideas on paper to show.
Create public notices with store's permission and publicise them around your town.

ask your local librarian to point you in the direction of grant information on forming a non-profit orginization. if you make a school, that will allow federal education funding as well. start with a website and build from there.

Just a thought, but I have seen some good programs that serve to "promote a positive self image among teens". This helps to take away some of the negative connotation associated with eating disorders and may help to make a more comfortable environment for your program. Hope this helps.
