Yeah i want to help people.

it depends on how you want to help them. If you become a registered nurse, you can work in places like rehabs, hospitals or clinics for those with Ed's. You can alternatively become a counselor and work in similar clinics as well. Becoming a psychologist would let you work in hospitals and clinics too but you would be more certified for interventions or crisis situations. Finally, being a psychiatrist is basically the same thing as a psychologist, however you have a medical degree as well so you would be able to prescribe medication to your patients. This is a nice choice too, but requires many years of university to get your medical degree. hope this helps!

There is orthorexia nervosa which is the obsession with eating only healthy foods. People who have it are usually obsessed with becoming pure and worry about everything they are consuming.

There is selective eating disorder in which sufferers only eats certain types of food and aren't likely to try anything new.

And there is binge eating disorder where the person consumes a large amount of food in a short amount of time and usually feels guilty and depressed afterwards.

you should title your newspaper articles "The Danger of Anorexia" and "The Compulsive Eating Disorder".

I have anorexia nervosa, it took me five years to be able to say that to him, my boyfriend. hes been helping me recover and he's the only one who knows. I have been eating fine for almost 4 months, but now hes away on holiday and I cant swallow food anymore. i can chew it but not bring myself to swallow.

i don't know what to do about it, i don't even know what kind of answer i'm expecting just anything i don't want to ruin his holiday in Italy by giving him bad news. he's the only reason i eat and now he's gone.

You can swallow. Eat more, but take very small amounts in each fork full and try liquids like Ensure. Take your time, and don't put too much pressure on yourself. If a therapist or doctor helped you with your anorexia, call them up right away and ask for help. If not, find a therapist or doctor right away, or do a search on the internet for eating disorder hotlines and find one to call. It's very impressive that you overcame anorexia. Don't allow it to come back. Don't let him be the only reason you eat. Eat so that you can enjoy life, including your boyfriend.

A: RR is not overly-zealous when it comes to spirituality, though yes, it is a part of their recovery programme. I went as a strict atheist, for example, and have known others who have different beliefs/no beliefs that went and got a LOT out of it.

A: Here’s a question: What’s “normal-looking” to you? When it comes to the NG tube, I think I’ve told you that the reason RR does it more frequently is a) it is an “easier” method for weight restoration and b) studies have shown that it is more effective for weight restoration than Ensure Plus, Boost, CIBs, etc products.

Q: Does Remud?a reall?y spell? “centr?e” [like that]? Becau?se I belie?ve it’s “cente?r” ?with an “er.” This isn’t Franc?e. ;P
A: Yes, it’s spelled “center,” so you’re right. I, however, use English spellings. So yeah, hence the “re.” Haha.?
