Is there a adult inpatient unit for eating disorders in wales?

I know there is an adolescent one, but I’m not sure on adult. Theres defiantly an adult eating disorders service, but I don’t know about a unit?

I’m not sure if there is in Wales. Wales lacks eating disorder treatments to be honest, but I’m sure you could find one near you, even if it is in England.
I’m not sure where this inpatient unit is located but here’s the only one I could find for adults on the website I was on.

Hope you’re okay, good luck sweety.

Go on this website and type in your postcode and on the drop down box, click on anorexia :)

It will tell you where the nearest clinic is to you.
Alternatively, go on the priory website and see where the nearest priory clinic is. Depending where you live in Wales, Bristol might be very close to you, and there is a Priory inpatient unit there.

Hope I helped you :) If it’s you with anorexia, I hope you get better soon x

hey, I went to cotswold house in Marlborough for adults, most the patients there were welsh, because wales doesn’t have a unit fo adults with ED’s. they are pretty good at getting people who need it somewhere (even if its not close) to go.
it takes a long time from being in the service, to being admitted. only if you’re at severe risk will they put you into a unit-which isn’t always a good environment.
