Anorexia help…scared of treatment?

I have been struggling with anorexia for over a year and i’ve been hospitalized 3 times and been in 2 treatment centers. I have been out of the hospital since april 2008 and i thought i’ve been doing well, but i guess i’ve lost some weight and I weigh 100 pounds and i’m 5 ft 8 inch and my team is talking about sending me back to treatment if my doctors appointment on thursday does not go well. Do you think 100 pounds is underweight for my height? If so, do you think my doctor will send me back to treatment?

I also struggle with Anorexia and also got out of the hospital last April.
Im going through the exact same situation you are. Im really sorry to tell you that you are underweight. I also am. I understand how you don’t want to accept it and you want to lose more. I really hope for the best for you!
I hope your appointment goes well, and if they decide to hospitalize you again, please don’t struggle. Please do it, they only want to help you.

    i think it is definately underweight for you height. it is hard to say whether your doctor will send you back to treatment though, it could be quite possible.

    I wouldn’t automatically say that they will send you back. I have had the same problem in my past. If you weigh 100 pounds I would really look inside myself to see maybe you need to, Is it worth a try or not.
