This very thick book is full of detailed research and packed with studies, but to totally free of answers to questions about why we submit to eating disorders. I bought it try some personal insight, why I felt I decided to gain from this behavior, and after reading this tome, I’m still in the dark. If you want to do a research project and site studies, this book is for you, but if you give an insight into what makes someone in the compulsive / addictive behavior, definitely elsewhere suchen.Ich there were two stars because I did not know how else assessed. As a licensed mental health counselor who with eating disorders I found this book very useful work, initiated in much of the important issues in the treatment of this disease are taken into account, and has since served a useful guide as worth rereading, and reflection on time and always again. I saw Carolyn speak at a conference a year ago, eating disorder, and her strong clinical background, their personal experience, creativity and compassion come through so clearly in this book, as it did in listening to her. This is an excellent source for those who already have basic knowledge of eating disorders and want a closer look at the behaviors and stories often associated with them. For those who are new to the subject, I recommend the book by Mary Pipher hunger. Rating: 5 / 5
