People with eating disorders suffer in many ways: physically, mentally and emotionally. Let us look separately at each way of suffering.Mentally they experience feelings of anxiety, inadequacy and decreased ability to concentrate. All of these effects on the sufferer study, work and relationships. In severe cases, affected also leave their jobs or studies because of their inability to cope with stress of everyday life. Their coping strategies are limited to food. You need to binge or starve themselves ready with a little stress. So you can see that the mental suffering considerably reduces the quality of the anorexics-bulimics life.Emotionally, all of them feel in control, although anorexics sometimes feel the onset of the disease are high. The only false happiness and satisfaction they have come from food (or should I say, from food abuse: binging, purging or starving themselves.)People with the eating disorder bulimia are dreaming about food while asleep or awake. They dream of what they like to eat what they prepare for their next binge. They then spend the next day preparing for a binge. You may ask: “How do they feel when they do not go through with their regular food abuse?” The answer: “You feel like an alcoholic who has nothing to drink, or like a drug addict who lack access to medicines feel. you are uncertain and nauseous, they feel they have to binge and purge any price, they can not concentrate to something else other than food. “Anorexic on the other side fear perceive foods and dishes as evil and dangerous. They believe that a single bite of it is increased to an enormous amount of weight. And if it is a bit of food they forced all of them works that are on the exercise, enemas, laxatives or vomiting.People with eating disorders are usually retired and hide their feelings. Instead of identifying, recognizing and dealing with their feelings, which they blame themselves, feel guilty and anxious. Often compare themselves with others, and there are always worse than the people. You always think that other people are better than they do.These thoughts produce even more guilt and shame in their souls, which then makes it to food abuse again and back on.Binging and diarrhea seems to be cathartic as it stimulates a special reward centers in the brain. These lead to a false and temporary relief to their state of mind. Very soon they will be hooked addicted to this false sense of relief and as alcoholics or drug addicts Get on the feelings binging offers them.Anorexics get similar feelings, but in relation to starve themselves. You get a strange feeling of satisfaction by starvation. The physical suffering includes constipation, increased susceptibility to infections, abdominal pain, headache, nausea, anemia, kidney damage, very low pulse rates, heart disease and brittle bones due to low calcium skeleton.Continued vomiting can cause erosion of tooth enamel and the teeth become corroded and chipped. The neck is usually very sore and salivary glands can do to increase the size of the interested parties face puffy and swollen. The most serious consequence of having an eating disorder is cardiac complications, since there are so sudden death, even if a person is asleep. This happens because of the extremely low levels of minerals (especially potassium) due to vomiting or starvation. The heart needs potassium and other minerals in order to work properly and stay strong. If there is a severe shortage of potassium, the human heart simply stopped working. Finally, it is important to understand that vomiting and starvation is only one way to add more problems to your existing. It is not a release for your everyday problems, but one sure way to increase them fired. One of the best ways to stop all these bad things with food is by removing the subconscious blocks you have in your mind that you have to make bulimia or anorexia against your own free will.

Ideally, eating disorders are treated by a trained health professional, once the problem is detected. Unfortunately, this is often not the case. Many patients resist professional help, or are in denial about her condition. An eating disorder is a serious disease that rarely improves on its own, and these conditions can pose serious permanent health damage, even death. If professional help is not sought immediately, there are certain things you can do a patient while arranging for a medical and psychological help. If you suffer from an eating disorder, here are six things you can do to prevent flying serious and permanent health damage.1st Spend time with friends, family, loved ones and every day. If you suffer from an eating disorder, spends time can love and trust you to do a lot for your physical, mental and emotional health. Make it a point to spend time with those you love to spend every day, even if only to go to a movie or to do errands. Time, the love you can not only help a good mood, it can help distract you from possible triggers can eat emotional, lead to excessive use or strict diets and eating habits.2nd Get busy. Fill in your schedule to do with the things you love. If you have a lot of time on your own, sign up for a class that you think, enjoy or consider volunteering. Fill all holes in your schedule with work and fun you can help healthy.3rd Keep close track of your feelings. Emotional eating, dieting, and excessive use are often triggered by strong emotions such as frustration, depression, loneliness, sadness, and anger. One way to keep track of how you feel to hold, is a routine of daily practice journal writing. Write your feelings, no matter how negative, can help much, the stress and anxiety that often with them.4th Also keep an eye on “self-talk.” Self-talk refers to the little voice in your head, often critical and negative. can help The awareness of the negative self-talk to eating disorder patients diffuse the power of such an internal dialogue.5th to search for a healthy and balanced diet and diet to avoid at all cost. Diet set to privation and hardship often leads to frustration and other negative emotions. Instead of thinking of food in relation to diet, consider an overall healthy diet that strives for moderation. Eat a variety of fresh foods, and try to eat your meals in the company of others, rather than eat alone.6th Limit your exercise four fifty-seven times a day, and try to limit the exercise times to thirty minutes or less. You should try the activities they enjoy, rather than engage in strenuous or competitive activities. Non-competitive sports activities and other fun activities such as dancing and walking can be an advantage and to restore the patient’s understanding of movement as something joyful.

There are many ways to treat bulimia but not very many of them really cure bulimia. Popular treatment is to go to doctors or clinics or a counselor. How useful are they? Statistics show that nearly 90% of suffers relapse after participating in this kind of treatment. What happens to these people feel better with it temporarily, while in the hospital or in a doctor’s room, but lose all sense of self-control around food when they come home or while on their own and unprotected. The next type of treatment is group therapy, where victims will receive ongoing support and assistance from other stakeholders and leaders are. But this way has many flaws and does not help either: it can be really dangerous to many patients. The reasons for this, that, while in the group there is often a competition for attention. In the group of patients often deliberately get worse or to be in more of the symptoms, only to extra attention from each other or the therapist. This type of competition always exists in eating disorder help groups but on many different levels. Sometimes it can get out of control and cause a lot of damage to some members of the group, the most venerable ones. Also, while learning in the group of people from one another. And they learn not only necessary, the good things. You learn a lot of bad things too. As I said, if a young woman has never heard of drinking ipecac to induce vomiting and learns this technique in group therapy. You can try the technique out herself at home, rather than positive support they have just learned how to mask her disorder even more. This can have a detrimental effect on the group leaves the group leader or member feeling responsible for teaching her. Some doctors prescribe medications for the treatment of eating disorders, but this does not resolve the problem and the long term even makes things worse. The only way to cure bulimia in my opinion is the reason why people have to eliminate it. You see, what happens is that people understand that their bulimia is slowly want to kill and stop, but they can not. It seems something in the person is stronger than their own free will and controls their logical thinking. What is this thing? It’s basically another part of our brain, the subconscious mind that not only responsible for people’s feelings, emotions and non-conscious actions that keep them alive, but it can also work against their own free will. It is the part of the mind, the responsibility for our actions, if we do something, but we do not know why we did it. The subconscious mind operates on feelings and senses. And very often you can not even describe it logically because it consists of thoughts and feelings. Those affected only do what the subconscious will do it. For example, the main reason people have bulimia in the subconscious and you need to get rid of bulimia, the subconscious blocks that keep you, a bulimic to stop against your will. Subconscious blockages are affected by many as voices or how they feel that they are making Binge and Purge described. If anyone prevents a subconscious emotional blockage to her / him from stopping their bulimia, they are virtually impossible. One example is a bulimic, do not recognize that they are “broken eye syndrome” – they look in a mirror a different picture from all others: in fact have their own head, she’s lying. Subconscious blockages can not be identified and changed at the level of rational thinking, which is where most conventional treatments, not only because they think the logical action is to fix it. For example, the “broken eye syndrome” is getting worse the longer you have bulimia, because the bulimic brain is constantly reinforced to the wrong information and false beliefs. You can use the logic to a bulimia sufferer talk all day long and it will not help one bit: because bulimia is not logical. To complete the identification and removal, your subconscious blockages is the best and really the only way to ever cure your bulimia. There are special programs that help bulimics to do so. You can try to use them to cure bulimia. To find out more about bulimia to heal http://www. Bulimia cure. com

Eating disorders are a particular challenge for physicians and psychologists, because they are complex diseases with a number of possible causes. has a possible factor for the development of eating disorders that many psychologists have determined to do with body image. The better you understand your body to be true, the better your overall mental and physical health will be.

A poor perception of the body, on the other side can lead the development of eating isorders. Many believe psychologists who simply maintain a positive body image can sometimes prevent the occurrence of some eating disorders. Here are a few ideas on how to strengthen the body of the picture:

1st Be grateful for your body. One way to do this is to list all the things your body allows you to do, no matter how small the task. For example, write down how your body you can walk the dog, play with the children, the garden or to dance. If you are less fortunate or handicapped people out there think I’m pretty sure you will find yourself with a well-functioning body blessed.

Also, you overlook the breathtaking nature of the body. For example, did you know that your body is constantly renewing itself? New cells are born every second day. Every five days, your stomach lining is renewed, renewed the liver of six weeks or so, and your skin cells are renewed on a monthly basis. Gaining respect for your body, by being able to put things in perspective greatly help you to prevent eating disorders.

2nd Engage in an exercise program that you really enjoy. So that you not only lose weight and be healthier, but in general, like how you will spend your time. Fitness training is not some harsh punishment regime or programs that you undertake to achieve the perfect body shape. Get your loved ones to participate or new friends.

3rd Make a list of all the people in your life that you and admire you, why you look to them. After you finish your list, ask yourself if people are on this list, because of the way they look. Or rather, they make it to the list because they are certain characteristics that make a difference to have your life and others? Very often you will notice that the people you admire have nothing to do with what their body shape. You will soon realize that while the body shape is important, it is not the end all be all or anything. Making this list will help you prevent eating disorders from developing countries.

4th Make it your goal, positive and confident, even if you are faking it at first. Even if you do not feel all that great, it looks like your body, you should still try to cultivate a sense of inner confidence. Walk with your head held high, back straight, and make choices confidently. Positive thinking can only be a positive effect on your sense of well being. Also to identify what it is that you can feel comfortable. With more self-esteem, you are in a better position to prevent eating disorders.

5th Once you love yourself to love you more, are you going to do what is best for you. These include maintaining a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. You do not feel as if you have to be accepted into thin stick, or are considered to be of good form. Do not belittle all the things you do for others. Love every bit of what you do.

Treating anorexia is a complex problem, which involves especially regaining physical health. That is the first step of the treatment, and after that step is accomplished, other treatment follows.

The parts of the anorexia treatment are involving especially the eating habits. Anorexic persons must try to follow a healthy eating plan. Their main objective must be to gain weight. When the body is in healthy condition, it is important to create a mental state that will help the patient, he or she must believe that are looking just fine, and must try to raise the self-esteem.

Following psychotherapy is an important step in treating anorexia. Therapy is essential because it helps to find out a person’s fears, concerns, and inner thoughts. The therapist is talking with the patient about that problems, and is trying to solve them.

There are different types of therapy:

-A therapy can be based on working with the thoughts that comprise eating and food. One of the main purposes is to find out exactly which is your relationship to food, and the therapist will ask you to analyze carefully your thoughts about food, will even suggest keeping a diet journal.

-Another type of therapy is using rewards and penalties in order to change the habit of self-starvation. Following the doctor’s recommendations will be rewarded with a small prize.

-Other types of therapy are analyzing patient’s social life, his emotions, finding out which are the factors that might have lead to anorexia, because there surely is something that provokes low self –esteem, bringing then anorexia.

-Group therapy is another method, in which the patient is allowed to talk to a supervised group, composed by persons having the same problem. Sharing thoughts, opinions to each other, feeling the support of other people helps anorexic patients raise their self-esteem and be more confident.

During the physical treatment of anorexia, the presence of a medical doctor is important, because he is monitoring your vital signs, is taking care of the hydratation level, and he is also evaluating the effects that anorexia made to your body.

Of course, you must get help from a dietician also, because he will take care of creating special meal plans, will include the proper number of calories so that you can gain weight, and achieve a healthy state.

Another thing that must be taken in consideration is self-medication. Drugs must be taken only if the doctor prescribes them, and you must be aware of the potential risk they have.

The doctor will recommend you drugs that treat depression, and the unrest that can cause anorexia and other drugs that help you to stop the obsessive behaviors.

If the problems caused by anorexia are severe, and they seem to become dangerous for your life, the doctor may decide to start anorexia treatment in a hospital or in a treatment center.

Some people are on a never-ending quest to find quick ways to lose weight. Many people jump from one method to another trying to find that magic bullet cure to dropping pounds the easiest and fastest way possible. The things they are willing to put their bodies through, while trying to achieve this goal, goes from mildly amusing to down right scary.

Maybe you’ve tried some of these methods yourself. Heaven knows there’s no shortage of advertisements, websites and product manufacturers encouraging you to try the latest, greatest fat loss miracle. Companies, and some individuals, make millions of dollars promoting these schemes to the unwary. The truth is, it would be a miracle if anyone was able to lose weight and keep it off permanently without either, wasting their money, or risking their health with these products and schemes.

Here’s a list of the worst ways you can choose to lose weight.

Starvation – This seems like one of the simplest ways to get weight to come off. I mean, not eating means you’re not ingesting any calories or fat, right? True. It also means that you’re literally starving your body of much needed nutrients it needs in order to function properly.

Most people who try to go the starvation route quickly find out that it’s hard to maintain for more than a few days. Not eating enough can lead to mental fogginess, feeling cranky and moody, and loss of energy. Who can get everything they need to do in the day done when they feel like this?

Plus, the worst part is that by denying your body the calories it needs, it will actually slow down your metabolism. You know what that means, right? Your body will not be able to burn fat efficiently. Instead, it will hold onto every single calorie you put into your body. Know why?

Because you’re starving it!

Our bodies are smarter than we think. They’re like machines. When your body gets less fuel than it’s used to, it knows enough to slow everything down and reserve its resources. When you finally

do get hungry and pig out, those calories will go straight to fat storage. Guess what? You may actually cause yourself to gain more weight by starving yourself.

Fad Diets – There’s an endless array of fad diets that instruct you to eat all kinds of things. Usually you have to eat the same food items, again and again, anywhere from 7

days to a whole month. For those who do manage to make it through a fad diet, their joy of dropping some water weight will be short lived.

Again, you can’t really lose enough weight and keep it off permanently by drinking lemonade, eating cabbage soup, diet cookies, ice cream, chocolate, popcorn, etc. While most fad diets do include healthy foods, they are way too strict and mundane to stick with for very long. Soon, you’ll

be craving your old comfort food favorites again. That is, until the next fad diet comes along.

Throwing Up – Okay, for most people, this is an uncomfortable idea and they won’t even try it. For others, it’s very attractive. They reason that you can eat anything you like, in any kinds of quantities, because it’s only temporary. Once you’ve pigged out, you go to the bathroom, stick your finger down your throat and up comes everything.

This temporary food enjoyment, followed by throwing up, can lead to serious health problems. Bulimia is a huge risk factor when you choose this road to weight loss. As we have seen too many times, people who use this method can develop serious issues with food and body image. This ultimately leads to life threatening consequences. Hey, you wanna lose weight, not end up a skinny basket case. Just being honest.

Pill Popping – Taking diet pills is one of the most popular ways people choose to lose weight. It’s also one of the most futile methods. If taking diet pills really worked well for all those who take them, then why do we see increasing numbers of obese people?

Diet pills have been around for decades, so you’d think that they would have a reputation for being so effective that most people would be slim and trim. Yet, here we are – fatter than ever.

Many people, who struggle with their weight, just don’t want to face the idea that it may take some actual work to drop those pounds. Instead, they desperately look for quick fixes, and there’s no quicker fix than popping a diet pill. Oh, and the promises the manufacturers make, are so over the top that it’s not any wonder they’re stuffing their pockets with cash. I mean, who wouldn’t want to drop all of their belly fat in 30 days flat – without lifting a finger or changing their eating habits?

Some diet pills are harmless herbal remedies that don’t really do much of anything. While others contain ingredients that have a detrimental effect on the body. There have been some sad news stories about people who’ve sustained permanent liver and kidney damage from taking a weight loss supplement. Others, unfortunately, have lost their life.

If you’re someone who is prone to taking diet pills, you need to stop and re-evaluate how effective they really are in helping you to lose weight. And, if they are that effective, why do you feel the need to keep taking them? Did you actually gain all that weight back?

Hmmm.

HCG Injections – Some people have resorted to taking hormone injections to lose weight. While our bodies naturally contain hormones, introducing any type of hormonal drugs into your body is really risky. While HCG is often used to help infertile women get pregnant, it is considered a controversial method in weight loss.

When you’re dealing with hormones, there’s gonna be side effects. Here are some of the documented side effects from taking HCG for long periods.

Abnormal breast enlargement (men), multiple birth pregnancies (women), tiredness, nausea, mood changes, acne, excessive fluid retention, sore throat, hair loss, prostate hypertrophy (men), unknown side effects from using counterfeit HCG.

Laxatives – The purpose of laxatives is to help loosen up the bowels if you’re constipated. That’s it. There is no evidence that taking laxatives to lose weight does anything positive to help the body shed fat. The thing is, as soon as you’ve ingested the food, your body goes into action to absorb calories. Taking a laxative after eating is already too late to prevent calories from going where they wish to go.

Those who have gone down this road often regret it, because laxatives can make you feel and look really ill. You can even become addicted to laxatives and end up being hospitalized. The damage you can cause your organs will not be worth all the pain and trouble.

Gimmicks – There are all types of silly products out there that claim they can help you melt away the fat in just minutes per day. Wrap yourself in a sweat suit or place a gyrating, electric belt around your waist. These are gimmicks that will just waste your time and money.

If you’re really serious about your health, there are smart ways to lose weight that don’t involve putting your body, and long-term well being, at risk. Losing weight takes real commitment, and yes – time. Many people who try things on the bad list just don’t want to hear this. They want to take shortcuts.

Well, again, if these shortcuts really worked, there wouldn’t be so many of these same people constantly trying to lose weight.
